Parent/Guardian Information
Please enter contact information for each parent/guardian/responsible adult of the registered child. It is required that all custodial parents/guardians attend the parent orientations and all legal guardians must sign the parent commitment form in order for the student to attend the Our Whole Lives sessions. Please email or call Kiersten Moore with any questions or if joint parent/guardian support poses a problem: 604-446-9359, kiersten@vanu.ca
Please note that there is a required parent orientation session. Dates for this session will be announced soon.
Sliding Scale Program Cost
The Vancouver Unitarians support sexuality education as one of our ministries. Costs of supplies, administering the program, and training and supporting our facilitators are budgeted for annually. The budget depends on the donations of members and program participants. Registration fees over $50 for Our Whole Lives workshops are treated as receipted donations to the Unitarian Church of Vancouver. If a program fee or donation is not realistic within your family budget, please leave the amount blank and select "not at this time" in the credit card processing fee menu to bybass payment.
We follow the Canadian Unitarian Council's lead on making our programs accessible. Sliding scale suggestions are designed to allow participants to choose how much they are able to contribute towards support of the program.
If you are unsure what a fair donation would be for you, check out this graphic and read a few words about sliding scale to think about:
“When I pay more, I know that I am helping others to access the event. When I pay in the middle, I know I am helping the organizers cover costs. And when I pay at the bottom, I know I am letting my community hold me and support me. All of these are wonderful and acceptable ways of participating.”
